I can hardly believe my lovely girl turned 11, how did this happen so fast?!

                                         

Definitively a different birthday, but still full of joy.

We humans are certainly made of Love and even in this uncertain, fearful times we find a way to express that love that keeps us going.
A very big Thank You to our friends for the lovely texts, video calls and specially for coming to our front garden to sing happy birthday.

It was so good to see you all, the children grew up, they are taller but their smiles, their kindness are the same. It was amazing to see them together (at a safe distance) like if only yesterday they said bye bye at the end of the school day.

We miss you all. 

Hope you are all well and safe, enjoying time with your children, teaching and learning with them. It can be challenging sometimes but it’s a great opportunity to instill values, to help them deal with frustration and to do what we always wanted to and couldn’t find the time for.

A party is not a party without a cake...

O tempo voa e eles crescem, tão, tão depressa...

                                         

Este ano um aniversário muito diferente, em lockdown, mas feliz.

Os seres humanos são definitivamente feitos de Amor e mesmo nestes tempos de incertezas e receios arranjamos maneira de expressar esse amor que nos dá vida. Obrigada aos nossos lindos amigos pelas mensagens doces, vídeo chamadas e por virem, à vez, cantar os parabéns no portão, a distância segura. Foi muito bom ver-vos depois de tanto tempo, as crianças cresceram nestes dois meses mas continuam com sorrisos luminosos e corações gentis, prontas para a brincadeira, como se tivessem estado ainda ontem todos juntos na escola.

E claro, não  há festa sem bolo, ou bolos (“O dos amigos e o da familia mamã, como sempre!”).

Espero que estejam todos bem, seguros, que estejam a aproveitar ao máximo esta paragem para pôr a conversa em dia, brincar com as vossas crianças, ler os livros que tanto tempo esperam no livreiro para serem lidos e mais do que tudo para serem felizes, sem medo.
